I had never missed but my Father had missed.
My Cousin is a Doctor and he was living in Ambala. He went to his office and he was supposed to catch Malwa Exp for Jammu. Due to traffic jam he wasn't able to catch the train.
He went to enquiry counter. He found that the next train was @9.30pm but he was supposed to reach JAT before 7pm.

took roadways bus for LDH. He reached there, by the time he entered rly stn. The train started running and he missed it.
He again took a bus. Now for JRC, he reached there and was able to catch the train.
This was a memorable journey for him.

I missed Navjeevan Express (MAS-ADI), when I was traveling from Hyderabad to Warangal, I had to Catch the train in Warangal but I missed it by arriving 10mins late at Warangal station. Then I came to Vijayawada. Due to which 4000 rupees got wasted. Again I had booked in same train after 1 week from Vijayawada to Surat. It was my first and last train miss till now.
