Good news :Gadag - hotgi double electrification work likely to start from Jan 2019 & expected to complete by March 2020 as per this report ..

Does it is feasible and good to run MEMU trains between Hubli-Solapur? Han i can see their are some cities invloved in the route like Gadag,Bagalkot,Bijapur which can get better transportation connection with each other and same time with Hubli and Solapur. Their are lot of ppl who travel between Gadag-Annigeri-Hubli-dharwad on daily basis which includes both govt,private and labour workers and also i saw Ppl from Gadag travel towards Bagalkot and from Bagalkot to Bijapur vice versa for jobs so their also its useful so in this sense this type service is better it seems between UBL-SUR.
