I heard a news that 28th dec another rake of 16526 will be lhbfied.
Sometimes wonder as to what is the criteria followed by railway zones to convert trains to LHB . Of course one criteria is rakes, lesser rakes stand more chance . In this case while it is good for Island express, one would have also thought that there are other intra state trains like Rani Chennamma express or maybe few others which could have also got LHB.

Due to slip coaches Rani Chenamma wont get LHB rakes as of now. But Island exp is also most deserving train to get lhb rakes as it used to run with very old coaches.
Out of the Express trains originating from and having PM at CDO SBC, this is the number rakes needed for operation
