i have seen the post that this train waits upto a limit As my ticket is 31st Jan and hence it is well known that the kalka mail train will be late by 5 hours minimum due to fog Hence do it wait till then ? As I did not find any consistency at the arrival departure history Some times 4 hours + and some times 2 + it was left. Any repsonse will be great.
2nd question : what is the alternatives I have . As I with family miss the train and valid tickets are on my pocket and no refund as well. How to go to shimla then ?

There is no fog in Himachal throughout, if train is late there could be other reasons.
