#siteannouncement Regarding Ads on IRI.
For the last 4 years, India Rail Info has been maybe one of a handful of websites in the world, and the ONLY Indian website that has carried absolutely NO ads. This situation may change as we look to attain long-term sustainability. But, even if and when ads are introduced, there will be a uniqueness to it - something that our users will actually enjoy, rather than be annoyed. Popup ads go against the basic philosophy of this site, and will NEVER be introduced - EVER. As of now, there are NO ads on IRI.

I miss FUNNY. I can't see it though- the VIP ad and don't intend to. My internet security software blocks ads.
thats a good decision sir. In fact sometimes ads make more userfriendly website. still I request regular activities should not be disturbed.
Idea is good. But, I would suggest we can take donations/supports to run the show. Ads will divert our attention from the main course. I offer to pay the domain renewal charges for next 5 years. (since, I am immensely benefited from this site, not monetarily but due to ease in operations), More importantly, I do not wish to be Admin or Mod.
