On 23rd January 2019 I visited asansol station at 10.20 PM... I have found early check point gates..where we have to leave our vehicles and take our language and move towards the concerned platform . The security checking is tight ... RPF persons are checking very thing ....well 24 hour open ticket counter and train information centre ..... neat and clean station ... well mannered staffs ... on site .there are seven platform ... in which platform 3 and 4 used for going towards dhanbad or patna and platform 5 and 6,7 towards howrah junction durgapur and burdwan and platform 1 and 2 towards purulia adra route.
