The renovated bridge on the newly gauge-converted SCT-PUU section has become something of a tourist attraction. Since there are still only a handful of trains through this route, the general public is visiting the bridge in large numbers.
The railway line here follows the contours of the river and the road, and was originally built by the British on the SCT-QLN narrow gauge line. The line was closed for a long time until it opened recently (initially the QLN-PUU line was opened for traffic, followed by PUU-SCT).
