Ecor was wrong in extending this to BBS as demand is very high for this train from VSKP only. Instead they could have increased the frequency of BBS-YPR to daily from weekly. then both cities would have survived.

This is wrong. Agree it did not see any patronage from howrah, but the patronage from tata, rourkela and nearby jharsuguda (brajarajnagar) was high. It was discontinued only because of complaints from Chattisgarh side (mainly political)

I think, you are not right in this point.
In fact, AFAIR, BSP Rajdhani was extended to HWH to compensate poor patronage from BSP to NDLS, and it was doing good. But, due to political protests from Chhattisgarh it was discontinued from HWH.

Jabalpur-CST GR was supposed to be extended to ALL as per budget,but it was differed due to protest made by BJP MP.
Even bilaspur rajdhani use to go via Howrah befor nuxal issues
i think during mamta banerjee tenure as RM, Bilaspur rajdhani extended upto HWH.
