I am about to travel this weekend and my return Journey ticket is currently in wait listing status. I came to know an important information that even after the chart preparation, if the status remains as RAC, I can still cancel the tickets by filing a TDR before 30 mins of the train's departure. Upon successful filing of TDR, India railway will process the cancellation and refund my ticket amount excluding the clearical charges.
My ask is, How much is the charges for 3AC ticket (at the timing of filing TDR) which is on RAC status at the time of the 1st chart preparation? Is that Rs 60/- or more than that?
