Tvc has daily intercity trains in Tvc-ers,srr,clt,can..... But there is no train in Tvc-pgt section..... A daily interity(even if a JS) is required in this section. The two division HQ's is not connected by an independent train....
In the old slot of 16526, a train is badly needed at present from Pgt to Tvc.... Many office goers and other people depend upon Kerala exp and trains like rapti, korba-tvc, ahilyanagari, sabari in the morning and also the memu which is more uncomfortable to them as they run in punctual in occasionally...... So a train is utter inportant in the morning time to TVC..... It can be a Intercity or Janshatabdi..... The only lone independent train of Pgt-Amrita exp was extended and there...

actually there is a scope of ICE to TVC after Sabari and before SBC-ERS ICE. There are almost no train in ERS direction during that period. May be something around 12PM departure will be fine. I guess there was a demand for SA-TVC ICE, atleast among rail fans, which didn't materialise till now. Even that will be helpful to remove the long absence of train in that route.
And for Island slot, i feel that current running MEMU can be moved to that slot departure. It will for sure benefit many people.
