My Question - Why IR not interested in Railbus concept for running in such sections ? Lot of Fuel savings can be achieved. No need of PF's at big stations, just allow at some sidings with low level PF's. Atleast few will take, No need to say Poor Patronage - 8 Coach DEMU, only 10-15 takers.
