This train provides a perfect chain to TLGP - MYS Exp at Hassan i.e. if someone wants to travel.
Also one of the slowest Exp of IR.

The above tweeter asks for One via MYS & one via SBGA. I feel another one is unnecessary. People need to ask faster connection rather than 2 trains. Ex: If Proposed YPR-MAQ is made daily with proper timings & Few augumented coaches, then 16513/14 can bypass MAQ/MAJN using Padil Bypass which saves lot of time, avoid reversal at MAQ area & early arrival at Karwar. Anyway Mangaluru people can still travel on that train & get down at Bantawala (SWR/26kms via Road) or Surathkal (KR/14kms via Road) both nearby towns.
But here comes 2 Major problems -
1)
...
How to Deal with Kannur Portion.
2) If bypassed, KR Stations don't have facilities such as Loco Refuelling.
Water Filling in Coaches (Avail in Karwar, But not used from many years).
