Not many will be on board the maq Intercity after the extension
Will it be Good if Jshtabdi extended to MAQ/MAJN ? Then Intercity might get cancel automatically. Lot of UR Passengers use ICE (atleast 22635), how will Jshtabdi serve them ? Halt pattern may change. & what about Monsoon schedule if extended ?
Yep. But the stupidity mustn't repeat like last time when passengers had to buy two seperate tickets for a Mangalore Mumbai journey with different seats. That was the reason for the Mangalore Jan Shatabdi to flop back in the mid 2000s.
Karmali AC Express should be extended to MAQ........Better if JS Extends to MAQ....It would require 2 rakes for that....and if done it would clash with MAQ - MAO Intercity which is already less patronised.......so cancel the 8 - coacher and since it is an 8 - coacher train use this to run as MAQ - Hassan Intercity Express
MAQ HAS is not required at all. This Intercity can either be extended to Dadar or it can be cancelled and the JS extended to MAQ. Karmali AC cannot be extended due to less turnaround time. JS can run with 2 rakes like before.
