Kya baat hai. Still remember in the 70s, I used to travel on steam-hauled Dadar-Varanasi Exp. in this section (now Kashi Exp.). Route was all single, unelectrified. Kabhi socha nahin tha ki ek din Bharat ka flagship train is route mein daudega. Super-excited!
The very first train to run with E-loco on this route was back in 2014, 12382 Poorva Express with HWH based 30458 WAP7, covered the whole stretch in whopping 2 hours and 20 mins...I couldn't believe it...
That's was impressive, when earlier Gangakaveri Exp used to cover the same in 3+ hours...
I was onboard and very delighted to witness that.
