In GNT Division, within jurisdiction of division there is no facility to start an ICE from Nandyal which is the last station in the west of the divsion and highest revenue generation section for the GNT Division is not having an ICE from GNT to NDL.A huge demand from Nandyal people and Rayalaseema people. Useless division planned only for the political meet and got a new division although Vijayawada Division is very close to Guntur. Guntur division authorities always tries to develop within GNT district as a part of railways but wont concentrate for the whole divsion. Even neglects highly for the highest revenue section i.e. Nandyal section of Guntur division.If they wants to develop with only Guntur district premises how will they generate revenue?Everytime such mindset lags behind only.
