Eyes closed Saraighat Express. Probably the best non-premium SF train of ER Howrah division as of today.

Saraighat can be called a Gem on Howrah's crown.

Exactly. And if they give LHB coaches to any train other than Saraighat, I would be extremely disappointed. Be it HWH-CSMT Mail, HWH-ASR Mail, Kumbha etc. Saraighat is that student in ER Howrah Division class that constantly tops every other exam with his hardwork but is not appreciated much because it has poor parents, where as other kids are spoilt and still are popular and remain in the news every now and then.

I disagree with you sir. Saraighat is not a bit lesser than Mumbai mail in any aspect. Saraighat is much more punctual and prioritized train than mumbai mail

Yes i agree with you ...but mumbai mail is a legendary train and a long distance important train than saraighat....mumbai mail travels a longer dist than saraighat...and also travels to Mumbai...so i feel it requires lhb ahead of saraighat.....also coach cond of mumbai mail is not that good cond now....
For Gitanjali exp i had earlier posted in this forum that when it was running with icf coaches with rsa with jagannath exp....the cond of coaches was very poor...i had then tweeted to RM and also informed GMSER sir that that "gitanjali is a long distance imp train that runs overcrowded for years....and coach cond is very very poor and puri cdo does a poor maintainance and every often SRC CDO
...
needs to replace 1 or 2 coaches at src cdo before departing jagannath exp as Gitanjali after SM. So, anyday a big accident can happen with this overcrowded train that can claim many pgr lives and it immediately need to be lhbfied even though src needs 1 extra rake for it after rsa breaks but it should be done to prevent casualty" .....i got a good response from our SER GM sir on it and similarly i have pointed out the danger for Hwh-Prr exp....lets see what happens to prr exp....hoping to get lhb by march 2020.....
So for mumbai main via ald i feel same should be done even though i am not a ER person...somebody from TKPR CDO can say better but acc to me mumbai mail via ald needs lhbfy first ahead of saraighat
