I have travelled in Swaraj, Indb ICE, JS, Mewar and they do cover that stretch in allotted time.
Notably trains between kota-bwm have to pass through mukundarah hills (darah pass) for about 20 minutes
Correct, but they still maintain their timetable. And its always nice to travel on a route with speed plus punctuality.
I've never travelled through this section. If I get a chance, I'd definitely travel in this speed heaven section of IR.
Take any SF train (Do check their avg speed, some have higher, some have lower) from NDLS to BRC and you will love the speed right after exiting NDLS.
