I usually take Indore intercity ... Perfect overnight timings between kota-ndls with no unreserved pax in SL coaches ... Also maintenance level is very high for the train
Yep, indore intercity is very good. I have taken Spl, Swaraj, Mewar, Indore ICE . Travelled in SL & Gen in Spl and ICE. In swaraj once in general till NDLS and once in SL on gen ticket till SWM. In Mewar only SL. Worst was in Swaraj. In general one was not able to even stand properly, somehow got inside and went standing till NDLS and there again I didnt get a seat in Jharkhand SK in General. Thus whole journey was done without a seat from Kota to Ranchi. Indore Intercity was very good in both General and SL.
Waise is route par faltu ki bhid nahi hoti lekin fastival season me log ghus jate h.
Normally SL mein extra bheed nahi hota but GT mail aur Swaraj group trains hi aisi hai ki bheed hoti hi hai, especially Mail mein. Mewar mein hardly koi WL passenger thha SL. Overall totally comfortable journey can be done in this route in SL class except in a couple of trains.
