My Experience with Jaipur Duronto to Mumbai :-
I hope these few lines would help people who are travelling first time by this train.
-> From past 4 years i have been regularly travelling by 12956 Jaipur Superfast express to Mumbai however this time i booked the ticket for this train as it was hard to get Tatkal Ticket for Jaipur Super and Total Tatkal Seats in 3rd AC are 120 in this train so there are bright chances to get seat.

was my First experience in LHB Coach. Duronto is equivalent to Rajdhani and Shatabdi in terms of Service and coach design. Train was clean...lights were bright.....service was good....as i mentioned in an another entry of this forum; welcome snacks, Dinner, Breakfast, Newspaper everything was served. So in terms of service its and excellent train.
As i mentioned earlier ; i chose this train over Jaipur Super for some reason so now i have to compare it with Jaipur Super. I won't write too much. Only i would say that though this train catches peak speed of 130 in between few sections like Sawai Madhopur and Kota yet this train runs very slow compared to Jaipur Super. Many times it was standing at the outer of some station and many times it slowed down throughout the night.
At Sawai Madhopur Junction; this train was standing at Platform 1 for engine change and few minutes after August Kranti Rajdhnai came at Platform 3 and left in a few minutes. Now if its "Duronto - a non stop train" then at Kota or some other station it should had crossed AK Rajdhani because that AK Rajdhani has lot of stops and Duronto is also allowed to run at 130kmph but it didn't.
Anyway; throughout the journey i missed Jaipur Super because like AK Raj; Jaipur Super also has lot of stops but it maintains the speed. Many time when i woke up at night in Jaipur Super; i saw it running at constant fast pace. infact between BCT and Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nagda; the Jaipur Super runs at constant high speed. It rarely slows down and never stands outer of any station.
Jaipur Duronto has an excellent service but in terms of speed it frustrates passenger. It reaches BCT at 12 and in my opinion at least 2 hours are being wasted for no reason.
It AK raj is really an important train the at least it can reach BCT after an hour of AK Raj but doesn't. It runs slowly so that it can reach the target of 12noon at BCT.
So in my opinion although it maintains the name of Duronto in terms of Service but in terms of Speed it doesn't live upto Duronto Name.

Duronto's should make an early arrival but seems WR is much more focused on the AK Rajdhani.

yeah.....travelled last month in ndls-bct duranto...it also can reach bct much before then 17:00 hrs....simply it is made to crawl.....WR should seriously reduce the slack time of duranto's....!!!!!

WAP5 won't make any difference. As i wrote WAP4 touched 130 with this train. The culprit thing is its time table.
