Fare of bgp GR is 950 while MADHUPUR HS is 1675-2470(covers almost same distance as bgp GR) . You clearly can see the difference. If only coaches are replace as it happens in case of CHENNAI GR or fare par with normal 3AC than its good otherwise HS is always a bad decision.
That's what i am saying to replace it but with normal Superfast AC charges. For example Vikramshila Express 3rd AC has fare Rs. 1455. Similar fare or slight less fare will be perfect.
Yes bcoz Humsafar is Express Train and may be there will be slight fare difference but HS will be feasible.
If Humsafar is not feasible than Garib Rath should be provided 2 rakes by extending Gaya - ANVT Garib Rath till Bhagalpur and Bhagalpur Graib Rath should run via Gaya then it can solve the purpose and a new Humsafar could be introduced from Bhagalpur via Patna.
