also another thing is IR should not assign the rejected rake of one Shatabdi to another one in the same route. That's simply bad for business.
The IRY/IR20 rakes are fairly old and have paseed their Mid-life stage. I believe one of the 2 rakes has been put out of service and is being used to source spare parts for the other, functional rake.
So, as maintenance becomes more of a headache now for this rake, they would have replaced it with LHB coaches for standardization.
