Aa route alli total yeshtu trains odtave? Viduytikarna madodarinda tumba gidagalu kadibekaguttadde.. So it's no use or necessary to make RE of Hassan Mangalauru if speed and sectional gradients still barrier for trains on that route.. LHB trains travel with 2 EOG they also leaves out pollution na?
Yes. There will be pollution from other vehicles and EOG. But apart from passenger trains, many freight trains use this route. So there will be some reduction in diesel bill for IR. I too know that this route there will not be much different for passenger trains after electrification
Karnataka has poor railway electrical lines, only border has few but thats small percentage

It takes time and sure karnataka gets good rail infra same like Andhra TN Kerala Maharashtra. Presently works going on for doubling of all the routes in Karnataka and also RE is sanctioned and New lines also emerging slowly. On other side karnataka have more dense forest area which is barrier for rail lines due to environmental issues which can't be taken as backward or failure in rail infra as it's by nature we can't do anything on that but whatever area where rail lines can be feasible those all lines get done in future. AP TN Kerala all have good rail infra from begining it's not new development but karnataka except Bengaluru Mysuru now it's improving rail infra in other parts of state too. For good and better things obviously it takes time which is what we ppl of karnataka waiting with patience.. SWR sure will...

In your complete message only one sentence I can see is reduction in deisel Bill to IR. So Any how IR start paying unit rate of using Electricity which is produced by majorly conventional sources like coal Uranium, water so indirectly one source is being used to produce another one it's like just Transformation of energy with losses.. Anyway it's just good discussion we having on energy conservation for IR.. We need to know unit cost of usage of deisel and usage of Electricity and also need to know how much cost it takes to generate electricity and what sources being consumed..
