Hampi express will have to wait as its PM is at UBL. UBL workshop is not fully ready to handle LHB coaches. Once it is ready, even UBL owned trains will get LHB. In terms of speed increase, Hampi will struggle till YNK-GTL section is completely doubled. Hoping for good days.
Lets hope but my personel opinion is in SWR Hubli division is always doing injustice to ballari and hospet. Its running intercity janshtabdi vishwamnava passenger trains to bangalore via chickjajur but no trains to hospet ballari but will earn freight trains revenue from it. We should demand to shift hospet bellari from Swr to Scr what u guys say.....
IMO geography wise, everything is perfect. Just a time to get pitlane at HPT/BAY. It will be allright esp. with doubling going on in full effect.
Ballari and Hosapete will develop in SWR
Development of Ballari: After commissioning of Rayadurgam - Tumakuru and Ballari - Sirguppa - Sindhanur - Lingasugur/Ballari - Gabbur new lines this route can become alternative route for intra-state and interstate trains from Bengaluru/Mysuru. Another advantage is both of these lines will be under SWR
Development of Hosapete: Some intrastate and interstate trains can be run after opening of Hosapete - Kotturu section for passenger traffic
