I totally agree with you.
I feel that a new shatabdi from LKO can sort things. Also, I think diverting should only increase travel time by 1.5 hr.
Also, people take buses as they take lesser time than Intercity and they don't get late much. If a shatabdi can save time, then people will definitely prefer it. Time is money.
