Better Communication at Stations Free of Cost : Wi-Fi system has been provided at Pandabeswar and Ukhra stations with single access point. This has been done at six stations by RAILTEL for passengers' use by their CSR. Shri P K Mishra, DRM requested to cover more such stations.As a sustained drive to provide enhanced amenities to our esteemed passengers, Asansol division has started providing Free wi-fi service even at small stations like Kulti, KumarDhubi,Andal, Ukra,Pandweshwar and Siuri.Wi-fi services at these locations are enabled with one Access point in concourse area near booking office where passengers generally gather for ticketing etc. Access points are having 4Mbps (1:1) Bandwidth allowing more than 100 users at a time with No time restriction.
