So in short Kalyan will not be allotted any WAP 7 locos and will be using Ajni WAP 7 as substitute?

The trip shed already handles basic trip-related maintenance.
Normally locos have regular schedules for maintenance (Like visiting the home shed once every month for a basic maintenance schedule etc). They do not visit the home shed after every trip and only visit the shed according to fixed schedules, or if the loco needs any major repair/maintenance.
So, even if the loco is coming from Ajni or any other shed, its link plan will be created so that it is sent to its home shed in time for the maintenance schedule.

Ok. So that's a no. Too bad that this loco shed is once again denied by the authority stating the technicality. I guess the rail fans from this area will be truly upset and disappointed.
