How to book seat in train after chart preparation, in seat/Vacancy option.
What is the procedure,
If I have waiting ticket from so and so place.
I heard only TTE can book seat.

If current availability on IRCTC then book online if not then crosscheck seat/vaccancy new feature
Note down the coach, class and seat number board the train and ask TTE for seats hence they will booked it if available

Yes.. but no for whole journey bcoz if u have waiting ticket and it remain in waiting after chart prepare
Then no seats will empty for ur leg of Journey hence u will get seats for few km in parts if available
