7 is a very popular locomotive to railfans but the engine drivers too love this locomotive for its many interesting features......

wap-7 is a very good loco but wap-7 hs may be better as because the present trend of IR is increasing the speed of trains and they are preparing their tracks for more speed...
wap 7 hs is suitable for good speed as because it has less weight and modified gear ratio for attaining 160kmph constant speed

Now this loco should be printed as wap-7i instead of wap-7

The Full IGBT Loco List is annexed with this post for reference by clw as on 3rd June 2019
Previously a class named wap-7i was introduced when IGBT Locos were turned out from CLW that system mainly followed to distinguish those Locos from the GTO ONES.
But as now GTO Loco production has completely been stopped by CLW & other Units only IGBT is produced so I think Railway thinks that no need to distinguish IGBT P-7 as a seperate Loco class wap-7i so they continue with WAP-7 which now means IGBT P-7 as well as earlier GTO P-7 too.

so i think the matter of printing wap-7 not wap-7i over Loco body is clear now.
