Soumyadeep~ 2363 blog postsWhile running as 22875/KGP-PRR Intercity it doesn't get much patronage cause of Rupashi Bangla just honking behind. PRR-KGP Intercity gets better patronage as it links to some important trains at KGP.
My suggestion is to withdraw this Intercity and Birsha Munda Express to introduce a train in route RSA as KGP-DGHA-PRR-DGHA-KGP atleast 4 days a week. It will no doubt receive good response. Lalmati can't be withdrawn for it's huge response from HWH for both TATA and PRR. However, the UP train must make to SRC on right time to get passengers. It has never reached SRC before 9:30PM forget HWH. Ironically you will reach faster by 12884.
