In all probability, ICF rakes will go for augmentation of existing trains & operation of Tatkal/Special fare specials. Hardly any chance of introduction of new, regular services.
When Kerala Express was LHBfied, 6 ICF rakes were released. But for bifurcation of Rajya Rani Express from Amrita Express, no new service got introduced. But 3A coaches got augmented in many trains based at TVC. Rest of the coaches were sent to MAS(being zonal HQ).
So expecting similar fate for ICF rakes of Pallavan/Vaigai Express too!
