Finally Train to revert back to its old timings and reach Ernakulam at 3:50am post monsoon schedule ( From Nov-1). Good for passengers travelling to Udupi, Suratkal, MAJN as they were severely inconvenienced by the odd time of arrival at these places.

Return TT should also change a bit, it can leave around 00:30 - 1 am in the morning and still can reach at same time to Pune. Currently it has huge slack between Londa and Miraj, where mostly it will overtaken by Ubl-Ltt, Goa SF and sometimes even Chalukya Exp also. Even though reaching Londa on time, it snails from here, to waste extra slack hours, there is even extra slack between Miraj and Pune also.
There was a strong possibility of this train being extended till TVC considering that its layover period at ERS is almost 20 hrs. Probably if and when that happens maybe they could tweak some time......But yes agreed that there is lot of slack in the MAO-Pune stretch
As of now except for Mumbai-CAPe express and Mumbai-TVC weekly express ( both of which take longer route), no shorter options to Pune is available (via KR). This could be a good option
Right, even pax from Hubballi can opt this train from Londa. Overall good connection via KR, Karwar, Udupi, Mangauru.
