Just now i checked the availability of 11017 Chalukya Exp from DR to SLI for 08/06/2012 in 2A... It was showing as WL/Avlb... When I booked the ticket it shows Booking Status WL 6,PQWL, Current Status CONFIRMED... Can someone explain why I dint get the coach no and seat no. I had selected Side Lower while booking does that mean I have got a side lower??? Im travelling alone with my 3 year old son...

Generally for such cases coach no. is not alloted. My assumption reg this is that the status was originally in WL and later declined to confirm when u booked ( all these happened even before you booked). This is done to allot seats in the best possible way. eg. If two people are travellling in one PNR and only in one coach 2 seats are available together. Then they ll be allotted seats there.
