12701/12702 MUMBAI -HYDERBAD DECCAN HUSSAIN EXPRESS was starte d in October 01, 1993. It was started as a Super fast train. It still runs as a SUPERFAST train between above two stations. Surprisingly, being a Super fast train, this train LACKS _a DINNING/PANTRY car. There is no Pantry car inthis train. Also there is is NO E-catering facility in this train. Even basic facility of tea/coffee/snacks etc are NOT available.
One has to depend on unauthorised HAWKERS in the train for ingredients.

This arrangement of Pantry car can be solved by changing/altering the timings from BOTH the directions i.e Mumbai and Hyderabd.
At CSMT, Mumbai the departure time be rescheduled to leave from MUmbai at around 8.00PM so that Passengers can take dinner from Pantry car between Mumbai and Pune in the night. Next day Breakfast between Solapur and Wadi, and Lunch between Gulbarga and Hyderbad.
In return direction, Hussain Sagar may depart at 12-00 noon from Hyderbad, so that tea/snacks can be had around 4 pm and dinner around 7 to 9 pm between Solapur and Kurduvadi.
Railways may please consider this suggestion of PANTRY CAR at the earliest.
