For Example, Sabari Express has 5 hours of diesel run and the rest is electric. Now, if converted to uni-traction. The run would be electric at least upto Shoranur, where it gets LC. From there, it would get an e-loco.

this decision already being implemented correct?,as in case of dmm-ns/mtm link,bidar-mtm running e2e with d loco
That's coz SC is unable to handel LCs at that time n VKB lacks LC staff. But they're spending a lot more on diesel if this is implemented.
It's a very bad decision by IR. It's tradition being followed from decades, they want to change it now. And these guys talk about saving green energy & all. 😂
Anyway, it's just for 2-3 months only from November onwards the trains would be fully running on electric locos from SC itself.
