In my opinion, Quality is a must as far as good blogs go. Quality of research, authenticity of information, Communication standards etc. If IRI decides to start a blog, there needs to be a mechanism to ensure that the 'best' of articles gets uploaded. This will be a challenge and may be difficult to implement.
Thanks Railfan for the link. A good one but I was expecting more details about the Railway Budget. Specifically I am on the lookout for a study of the ANATOMY OF A RAILWAY RUPEE. Basically this is the way the general budget used to be analysed in the past when I was say of your age.
Take one rupee of railway income and the analysis tells you how many paise are by way of freight earnings, advertisement, IAC fares, 2AC fares, 3AC fares, sleeper class fares, General ticket fares and so on. Similarly out of every rupee of railway expenditure how many paise go towards fuel ,salaries & wages, capital expenditure and the like. If you or any one else comes across...
