It's quite evident that 1 hour can be *easily* saved by using push-pull arrangement. With an MPS of 130 kmph, the sectional average was between 100-110 kmph, which is quite impressive.
P.S. It was probably just a trial run. After fine-tuning and LPs being used to this arrangement, 15 additional minutes can be easily saved.
