With the commencement of Rajkot- Mumbai Spicejet flight from Diwali, trains face a stiff competition. There will be more empty seats in Humsafar and Duronto as many of those passengers were forced to travel by trains with the no. of reduction in flights after the exit of Jet Airways. The flight fare would be around the 3A and 2A costs of the Duronto Express. High time that Railways thinks of something innovative.
