This train should be extended by RNC & KGP on both sides.

That's was the plan after political pressure came from WB. Whatsoever, Hatia CDO wasn't as big like now and eventually this train went to KGP cause of demand by Jhargram people. It was meant to be faster version of HTE-KGP PGR.
KGP CDO is also now developing.....now only 4 Conventional passenger trains and 1 express train gets PM at KGP CDO....but tender is called for many development works at Kharagpur CDO....also Diesel to Electricl loco shed development works going to start from next month for homing more electric locos....... all these works like development of CDO and Electric loco shed we can expect few more Express trains from Kharagpur can be W.B election in 2021.
