It's initial link was an ALCO from Gooty. GTL shed started handling BG links for mainline trains much later.
VKB does not have any trip-shed. The same loco will be used for the Up and Dn trains, or they might put in an LSA with Palnadu express.
There are always 1 or 2 diesel locos idling at VKB. If this train continues with an ALCO link between VKB and NED, then they won't need any additional arrangements for the D-Loco.
