I did see there are few sections where poles are coming up. But more than electrification what is urgently required is doubling. Not sure if electrification will lead to significant reduction in time.
Stations are located at a far distance resulting in too much time for crossings. DPJ to Hosur is 92 km and there are 5 intermediate stations in which I guess only 3 stations have loop line for crossings. Similarly Karmelaram to Bypanahalli is almost a journey time of 20 minutes and no crossings are possible in this stretch. Yet again long waiting time. So if they are able to parallely try and do doubling it would help.
