NI work for Daund Bypass line is completed and new signaling system is functional.
After tomorrow's CRS line will be opened for freight traffic. Pics 1 to 3, NI work related and Pic 4 shows new signal installed for bypass line which is now functional. Captured today morning while traveling from Hyderabad to Pune in Indore Humsafar Express.

This reduces travel time for some train by 15 - 20 min for sure.
this reduces time definitely , but will have to see when would the TT of trains change ...big gainer would be trains like Goa exp which reverses twice in a matter of few hours ...
It will be in phases. First freight, then New trains OR Trains having Technical halt OR trains having minimal booking quota at Daund.
For New station, I don't think it will happen as Bypass line is far from station and Daund is a big junction. Jo train waha jani chaiye, wo wahi jayegi, like the way it happens in Chhitaurgarh.
