Most area of the Ballari dist which includes Ballari, Toranagallu, Hospete, Sandur etc have a soil reached with ferric oxide. Most of the mines here is in Sandur, Swamihalli, etc.
due to mining ..iron ore carrying.. entire ballari &chitradurga dists stations u see this .
today is speed trial. MPS planned for HPT-VC is 40Kmph &VC-KTY is 80kmph.
