Nearly five years after Madurai-Coimbatore gauge conversion work was completed, Southern Railway has proposed to run two pairs of trains connecting Rameswaram and Thoothukudi with Coimbatore....
CBE-RMM Express & CBE-TN Link Express will be diverted to run via POY-PLNI-DG-MDU route. Consequently CBE-NCJ train will be made as a separate rake.
I don't think so bro. The existing 16618 CBE RMM express is not only used by CBE alone. It is used by TUP and ED people too. So it will stay there. And there were discussions regarding 16618 to make it daily one from weekly. The Proposal is for introducing a daily train via Poy to rmm (retrieval of old meter guage train).
Next, the proposed CBE TN passenger/Intercity is a day-time train via. It is not the existing 22670 rerouting via Poy as it is a night train. But in future it may be separated from 22668 and rerouted it via Poy. That's depends on the decisions of SR.
