To be honest Chambal Exp has the demand for Intercity covered to a fair extent, though I wish it could run daily and don't get horribly late at MKP whilst Loco change
Even Rapti Sagar and SKD runs on similar timings with Lucknow Intercity but it has fan base.. If running on right time.. LJN intercity runs completely occupied same with ALD intercity you can compare it with fan base of ICE, 4 GEN coaches of chambal can't handle the crowd of daily passengers.
Jhansi-Allahabad Passenger could be converted into daily Intercity train.
JHS-ALD Intercity is needed which should depart at 6.00 AM from Jhansi
Jhansi-Allahabad passenger departs from jhansi at 7:10 Am. It could be easily converted into intercity.
