Why is this train not given electric loco from Wadi-Bangalore ?

CR tried it with KK express, but they found that it was difficult to maintain the schedule with that arrangement.
A WAP7 weights as much as 3 ICF 3-tier coaches. This would make the rake a tad too heavy for a single EMD. It will be able to haul the rake, but will take a longer time to reach MPS from a halt or after a speed restriction. In addition, this section is still a single line in some patches. All these contribute to considerable difficulties in maintaining such an arrangement.
