IRCTC site is very slow to book tatkal ticket.
I am trying to book a tatkal ticket, I am trying from last saturday. Every day I am ready at 8AM. But from 8AM to 8:20AM the site is very slow. it starts working at 8:20, by that time all tickets are moving to waiting list.
They should increase the performance of the site, and they have to block the agents bulk booking

Navin Sir as vacations are on demand for reservation are high there is pressure on the server.
But why do you want to block the agents?
Do the agents book the ticket for themselves, they book for public like you with the permission from the government.

Hi I tried to book my ticket through IRCTC Agents info, he asked me if you want a pakka confirmed ticket I need 250 per head.
If you pay 100/- I will try to get it, but not sure about the confirmation.
thats the reason I raised this issue
U can reak ur journey in parts!!!
Sometimes mayb u have to await connecting train @ intermediate platform!!
If u try differing combination, u can make boking happen, without contacting any agent!!!
Thats better then paying Rs. 250 extra!!!
