A very imp & busy section ( Bhimsen-JHS ) has been marred by inordinate delay in execution of Doubling work... The commissioning of Bhua-Orai ( 12 kms ) will give some relief ...
Agree! its been 8 years and they are still unable to make bridge on Yamuna and Pandu River and Bhimsen Orai section is still incomplete. Jhansi Ait section construction was started way later, constructed early and operations have also started. Its all because of the company Hyderabad's GMR which left the work in the middle and later Rail Vikas Nigam is doing this project. The deadline was 2018. If it was completed 2x trains would have started on this route including Reverse Intercity, Jhansi Patna Express, 3 GkP mumbai, 1 gkp pune, 1 lko mumbai, 1 cnb hyderabad, 1 cnb mumbai plus udhyog nagri, bhopal pratapgarh would have been made daily.
Even JHS-AIT is not fully commissioned... Parichha Thermal-Parauna tracks are ready but no CRS inspection so far..
Very frustrating..are we looking at another 3-4 years for completion..
