I took Runicha exp to JSM. Actually no plans initially, but when I saw all hostelmates leaving slowly, I too decided to. The plan of Longewala, tanot, jaisalmer was cooking up for sometime. So, saw availability. Runicha exp had RLWL/AVBL in 1A. So booked it just before chart preparation. Got Coupe + Lower (& UB was empty for whole route). Jaipur junction was gleaming in Pink lights complimenting the nick name of the city i.e. Pink city. My train was an hour delayed so waited in the waiting room. After waiting for 45 min, went to PF 3 where train was scheduled to arrive. DEE-JP DD was parked on PF 2 since its arrival and due to that ADI Raj PF was changed to 3 from 2. The clean Rajdhani was running with BX2 and had quite a good deboarding number at JP. After its arrival my train arrived....

Entered HA1 to find a clean coach with empty coupe. The walls adorned scenic pics from J&K. Though the window glass was not that clean and outside view was impossible. Slept soon as ticket was checked before we departed JP. Bolted the coupe door and slept till Rai ka bagh palace. At Jodhpur first took a water bottle as I knew the food/water status ahead. Then cleaned the window with paper. Though still unclean but view improved. Passed some sanddunes and then at Pokharan saw the semaphore signals. Last time (2017) some jawans got in 1A but this time none, though there was uninteruppted movement of BSF vehicles in Pokharan. Slowly covering all the delay, we reached Jaisalmer... Returning tonight(27/10) by 12467 Leelan Express Enjoyed a lot on this trip... Memorable one.
