Sub: Supply of 500 ml Rail Neer on all Shatabdi Trains.

Please refer to Commercial Circular No. 22 of 2012 vide which instructions were issued to provide Rail Neer Packaged Drinking Water bottles of 500 ml in all those Shatabdi Trains having journey time up to 5 Hrs. In order to prevent wastage of precious water, the existing instructions have been reviewed and following has been decided by the Competent Authority; –
a) Henceforth, one Rail Neer Packaged Drinking Water (PDW) bottles of 500 ml shall be served to passengers across all Shatabdi trains irrespective of the journey time.
b) Reimbursement shall accordingly be made for 500 ml. Rail Neer Packaged Drinking Water Bottle.
c) Any additional requirement of Rail Neer PDW bottle on the Shatabdi Trains may be made available on payment basis.
d) These instructions shall come into force from the date of issue of this letter.
e) This scheme shall be implemented on experimental basis for a period of three months.
f) All other instructions in this regard will remain unchanged.
