The British were idiots regarding laying Indore Khandwa MG Railway line. They could have easily made it a BG line following the same procedure used for laying railway line at Budhni Ghats. Wonder why they didn't do so & let Rajputana-Malwa Railways built a MG line in Choral Ghats.
